Hamster age(s): Approx. 8 months

Reason they were abandoned? Surrendered to rescue when owner became pregnant

Any health problems/special needs? She arrived with a skin condition, but happily this was easily resolved with veterinary treatment, and she is ready for a new start

Any behavioral problems? Very active and curious, but needs a little work on handling. She is OK when in your hands, but is a little nervous about being picked up.

Type of household hamster would best be suited to: The main carer must be an adult. Experience of hamsters preferred but not essential.
