Reason they were abandoned?: Surrendered to rescue
Any health problems/special needs?: None
Any behavioural problems?: No. We've had the babies since a young age so they have been regularly handled and are very friendly.
Type of household hamster would best be suited to: Open to discussion.

Today's update:

Two baby hamsters have been rehomed today and Plum and Brandy have also been reserved.

This leaves Mum and three babies looking for a home as a four or two pairs, and little Eric the single boy.

Plum and Brandy are now looking for homes again, unfortunately. Eric, the single boy, is reserved though.

Mum and three babies are also still looking.

Although dwarf hamsters have a reputation for being nippy, these guys are exceptionally friendly and very easy to handle. All the females are currently living in groups with no sign of any squabbling.

Update:

Peanut is one of Miss Piggy's daughters. Unfortunately, on reaching adolesence, Peanut decided she didn't like sharing and began to bully her Mum and sisters. Consequently, she lives alone and is looking for a home where she will get plenty of human attention to make up for being on her own. She is exceptionally friendly and a real character, full of mischief and with a thirst for adventure!



Also still available for rehoming are a group of three females (mum plus two daughters), and Plum and Brandy (see details above, or on Starlight Trust - Meet the Animals)
