Location: Cambridgeshire (right on the Cambs/Herts border)
Kind of hamster(s): Female dwarf hybrid.
Hamster age(s): Approx 12 months.
Reason they were abandoned? Pudding has been passed from home to home her whole life. She has had 5 different owners
At her last home she was living in a lunchbox with holes poked in it, she was handed over to me because the family didn't like that she was biting them.
Any health problems/special needs? None.
Any behavioral problems? Pudding unfortunately is a nibbler! She did bite in her old homes but I think this was because she was bored (wouldn't you be in a house with nothing to play with)
Since being here she hasn't bitten me hard at all.
She nibbles most things though (clothes, fingers, feet, sofas, carpets, you name it she'll have a go)
She is also a little hyper. She will dash about so quick and not realise she is about to fall off things so you'll need to keep an extra eye on her when she is out for playtime.
She also loves to climb but isn't very good at it and falls down a lot so hammocks and/or shelves are a must in her cage.
Type of household hamster would best be suited to: Pudding will need an owner who is experienced with small furries who like to nibble.
Someone who doesn't mind hyper hams!
Link to rescue facility: None for now. LittlePaws is currently having a website designed while we sort out some paperwork to set us up properly.
For more information send PM on forum? Yes.
All Pudding asks for is a nice large cage, preferably barred so she can practice her climbing skills and show off for you!
Lots of toys and noms.
And plenty of playtime and handling so she can learn not all humans are horrible.
So, onto the pictures of her ladyship
