Location: Fostered in Southampton on behalf of Scritches Rat and Rodent Rescue
Kind of hamster: Syrian
Hamster age: Approximately 1 year
Reason they were abandoned? Handed in to vet by child owner, reason unknown. Given to Scritches as his next home struggled to handle him.
Any health problems/special needs? Needs gentle but confident handling and TLC
Any behavioural problems? Can squeak if he wants to be put down, but doing this less now. Sometimes wriggly in his enthusiasm to explore but hasn’t made any move to bite. Picks up well from cage and takes treats very politely. Rather nosey!
Type of household hamster would best be suited to: Adult owner
