Photo Competition ~ Spring!

As it says in the title, this month's photo competition topic is... Spring! You may interprate this any way you want, Easter, flowers, day length... You are allowed 2 entries each, ONE of which may be photoshopped if you wish, but it is NOT necessary. This competition will be open for entries until the end of March, then the voting will be posted. This will last for 20 days, then the winners will be posted...

(This was one of my old Easter sigs)

Can't wait to see what you guys come up with!

What does "photoshopped" mean BTW?

Idiot's guide please...if at all possible...I'm not at the forefront of modern technology...more like straggling at the back of the queue

It's very Spring-like here in the North East of England...the sun is shining and the birds are chirping although it's a little cold today but this competition has got me in Spring mode alright

Photoshopping means altering or adding things to a picture using your computer. We use Corel Paintshop pro to do ours but most people have Paint on their computer and you can use this do do fun things. The picture in the original post of Red and the bunny was done using Paint which is simple to use once you get used to it. Try looking in all programs then accessories and you might find Paint there.

I've found Paint but I can't find out how to add a photo to personalise the picture, which is driving me bonkers. Aidan has come up with a couple of ideas for the competition but I can't make them come to fruition and we are both rather distraught to say the least. I've been doing a whole lot of chin-stroking over this today

I've got the picture committed to Paint but the addition of the photo is proving impossible.

I've read the help section of Paint and I've trawled the Internet in the hope of finding a tutorial but that drew a blank (pardon the pun).

Can anyone help me out please?

Oh well, back to the chin-stroking...

Hahahaha, yeah I'm in Iowa. Where we just got through a snow & ice storm. Though there are robins flying around. It is supposed to warm up this weeks...so we'll see.
