Hamster of the Month - April 2011 - POLL NOW POSTED

It's a new month so we have to choose the 'Hamster of the Month' for next month. The winning hamster will appear on the front page of the forum so when someone comes on to the forum they will see the picture.

It will also be made into a Calendar pic for April and posted for anyone to print out.
In entering the competition you give permission for you picture to be used in these ways.

So it could be YOUR hamster who becomes famous.

1. This competition is for the April Hamster of the month.

2. You may enter 1 picture and this should be accompanied by a few lines telling us a little about you hamster and why it should be chosen.

3. The picture should be clear and as charming as possible

4. The picture must be of a hamster of any species and it must belong to you or your family. It may be with you now or have passed to the bridge.

5. Closing date for entries is Friday 25th March.

6. The voting will be posted and the new pic will be displayed in April. It will also be made in a printable calendar.

7. Please try and post a new photograph that you have not entered in a previous competition.

8. It may be themed if you wish and March has Spring, Mother's day and Easter!

Please do not post any comments on this thread and only post entries. PM me with any queries. If you cannot post pics then e mail me the pic and I will post it on your behalf.
I have noticed that some of the pictures posted are very large. These pictures do not do your entry justice as people will not scroll across the page to view the whole image, it stretches the forum and also it can pixelate and make your picture less clear. Please resize your pictures so that they just fit across the forum. Around 600pixels width is a good size. Also you should ensure your picture is very clear and in focus as a blurry picture will not attract votes. Thanks.

Here is my Toffee ham, she is extremely photogenic and cuddly. She likes nothing more than to sit on your lap and fall asleep. xx

Here's Harley my Syrian Hamster. He is quiet happily sat on my bed munching on some yummy goodness I brought for him. I believe he should be April's hamster of the month because he always makes me smile with his sweet, mischievous antics.

This is Noodle (RIP). He loved cuddling - even if it wasn't me - this is him and his favourite teddy. I believe that he should be hamster of the month because everyone loves a cuddle and it'd be great to be greeted with one every day on the HC front page!

This is my little Teebo, he is such a sweet boy and extremely tame (even though you often read Robos cannot be tamed!).
He is a beautiful little man I got from Tammy in January, she has a lot to do with the tameness!
He hasn't got a tail and has a little nick in his ear, both of which I think make him even cuter!

(Just want to add Wicket is equally as cute, his brother, but I didn't have a good picture of him! Don't want him feeling jealous! lol)

This is my wee princess Millie. I think she should be hamster of the month coz she's so cute ( tho so is every other hamster on here). It would also be nice to have Millie as hamster of the month because we've just joined here

She was the first Hamster I have had the pleasure of sharing my life with.
She was very cheeky and very cute
She was tame right from day 1, and was brave right to the very end.

This is Brian

Brian is one of the babies we kept from our very first litter, and although he is quite an old man now, he is still has most of his lovely long hair

This pic was taken a couple of years ago when we took our hammies on an easter break with us. I think it's a lovely picture as the spring sunshine brings out the colour in his coat

Anyways this is cheeks again cuddling with ateddy. He should be hamster of the month because hes getting old now and I'm sure would love to be memorilized as a hammy of the month!
