Hamster of the Month - October - VOTING NOW ADDED

It's a new month so we have to choose the 'Hamster of the Month' for next month. The winning hamster will appear on the front page of the forum so when someone comes on to the forum they will see the picture.

So it could be YOUR hamster who becomes famous.

1. This competition is for the October Hamster of the month.

2. You may enter 1 picture and this should be accompanied by a few lines telling us a little about you hamster and why it should be chosen.

3. The picture should be clear and as charming as possible

4. The picture must be of a hamster of any species and it must belong to you or your family. It may be with you now or have passed to the bridge.

5. Closing date for entries is Tuesday 21st September.

6. The voting will be posted and the new pic will be displayed in October.

7. Please try and post a new photograph that you have not entered in a previous competition.

8. It may be themed if you wish and October has Halloween and autumn.

Please do not post any comments on this thread and only post entries. PM me with any queries. If you cannot post pics then e mail me the pic and I will post it on your behalf.
I have noticed that some of the pictures posted are very large. These pictures do not do your entry justice as people will not scroll across the page to view the whole image, it stretches the forum and also it can pixelate and make your picture less clear. Please resize your pictures so that they just fit across the forum. Around 600pixels width is a good size. Also you should ensure your picture is very clear and in focus as a blurry picture will not attract votes. Thanks.

sorry if its small - That is Pearl, unfortunately she passed away a few months ago but i have some nice pics of her so i thought i'd try this
She was shorthaired banded (not sure on colouring lol i'm really bad at it... She was a little angel and was love at first sight hehe i really like this picture and so i thought i'd put it on here, lol she's in her little coconut hidey house when she was younger. hope you like!!

This is a photo of my dear Champagne. He was a short hair satin yellow Syrian and was my first breeder hamster from my first hamster show one october.

He is the only hamster of mine my brother liked and he took over a thousand photos of Champers one Christmas! He was a proper little poser and that was his favourite place to sit or stand and watch the world go by. He may have been gone for years but he still lives in my heart.

Messy is quite a young dwarf hamster, whom recently just got used to my hands and taming. I am really proud of him for that! In this picture he is auditioning for monorail hamster. I can imagine his brother, Runner, sitting on his back going ''vrumvrum!''
I think he should be hamster of the month since he has been behaving very well. He is cute, active and funny in every way, a busy little boy who like his play time and cuddles now!

This is Furr. She is a 4 month old winter white hamster. She loves sunflower seeds the most, and hates fiber pellets. Her favourite past time is to nom-nom on food.
