Ahhh, I lost my last hamster when I was...13 so that's a fair few years back, so I likely do not remember the gas part.
At least they pass in a gentle way xxx

Thats what makes me feel so bad when I had Milly PTS the vet didnt say anything about gas, and I regret not asking, but I was just so devistated, I hope he did because it would kill me to know she had to go through that while still awake xxxx

Thanks Souffle, just trying to prepare myself if it ever comes to that, I can be a tad hysterical when I am upset and confused, so I thought that by knowing what to expect would help me to stay calm.
