Is this ok?
I just got an email from zooplus and there is £3 off all orders to celebrate about the start of the world cup, and smudge has been needing some sand for a while so I looked on the site and I found some but it quite pricey.... But I found this but is it ok???
Great deals on bird feed and litter at zooplus: Pitti Fine Bird Grit
thank you

Re: Is this ok?
With chalk grit with calcium, feeding chalk, cuttlefish bones and aniseed oil? Um... i would stick to classic chinchilla, this one might be too dusty. But thats my unprofessional opinion

Re: Is this ok?
What are you using it for? By the description it doesn't sound like it would be dusty but I do wonder if the chalk in it would dissolve if Smudge pees in it and turn the whole thing to cement as it dries!

Re: Is this ok?
Oh wow, I just looked up chinchilla sand and you actually have it! Over here we can only get the dust and is it ever irritating to the respiratory system! I can't use it for my gerbils or my hamster because it's bad for them. I can't imagine it's good for the chin either but it's all the pet stores carry.
