Default Hamster Yeast Infection

Hi! Noticed my Syrian balding a little and brought her to the vet. Found out that she has a yeast infection so she is now on oral medication and has to be wiped with antiseptic twice a day.
The vet says it is due to a moist environment (sleeping on pee etc). She likes to bring the wet, fresh vegetables down to her burrow so I suspect that is the reason for her as she does not sleep in her sand bath. For now, I have done a cage clean and reduced her 10 inches of bedding while she is on treatment, also changing her wooden platforms over to acrylic.
Does anyone have tips on applying the antiseptic - her belly seems a little red too, should I also apply it there?
Any other tips and advice for yeast infections appreciated.
