Default Syrian Trimming Own Nails?

Hello! I saw a post somewhere about Syrians having strong enough teeth to file their own nails down, while dwarfs dont. Is it true? Found it quite interesting as I have a Syrian!

All hamster species, as well as most rodents except guinea pigs, naturally chew their nails down. So don't require their nails trimmed unless you have individual who neglect their nails and may need their nails trimmed.

Dwarf teeth are strong enough to chew their nails down. The only time their teeth as well as Syrians wont be strong enough is when they are elderly
