Default noticed something weird with syrians toe

so i just picked up a 6 week old female syrian a few days ago from a petstore and after letting her settle noticed this on her toe, really not sure what i should do it doesnt look like theres a nail there and i've noticed her grabbing her leg / trying to chew it. she's sleeping a lot as well. Wanted to see if anyone knew what it was while waiting for a trip to vet.

more info i just thought to add, shes running on her wheel a fair amount, she doesnt limp but i know hamsters hide pain so im always second guessing everything. she falls asleep a lot when i've had her out the cage she will quite happily just crawl somewhere and nap

today the toe looks less swollen and the black thing has gone. looks like no nail is there

thanks in advance!

It does look like she has pulled a nail there. I think you should see a vet as if she's biting it it probably hurts and it may well be infected. Antibiotics would likely be used to treat it.
