Help please. Urgent
I have a Syrian hamster named Pippi who is in between 8-10 months. I traveled with her and am away from home at the moment. The first two days we were here she acted fine. Tonight she got up much later than normal. She also peed on me when I picked her up which she has never done. She also has an abnormal smell and is not playing much at all. I am very concerned. Please help.
Loving hamster parent.

Re: Help please. Urgent
Are you able to get her checked out by a vet as the stress of being away may have caused a urine infection or possibly a womb infection which is very serious. Try and find a local vet to get her seen.

Re: Help please. Urgent
That's very difficult for you. Poor animals cant get sick at thanksgiving! Maybe ask one of the online vets for an opinion? Some facebook groups have vets online. Other than that you can only keep her quiet and warm with food that is easily reached. Check the water bottle is free flowing and add a little bowl of water too in case she wants to lap.
