My little patchy 😭

My little darling Syrian is 2.5 years old. He's been rocky on his feet for a few weeks. In the last few days it seems he's coming closer and closer to his rainbow bridge journey. His back legs barely work, he's rocky and stumbles. I've adjusted his home so that everything is on one level so he hasn't gotta move far. But I tried to hand feed him tonight and he wasn't eating. I hand gave him some water which he took but then he just doesn't move afterwards.

I wanna just keep him comfy and warm and stuff, I don't have the funds to take him for a euphanasia or the transport and I'm meant to be in isolation cos I have tuberculosis. So what can I do? I'm just keeping the poor old boy as comfy as I can and cuddling him often and telling him it's alright and the rainbow bridge is ready for him whenever he is. 😭😭😭.

Just keep him warm and comfy with food nearbye in case he wants it. Leave him quiet and maybe cover one side of the cage so he has privacy. I might offer the bottle to his mouth every so often in case he is thirsty. I hope his path is gentle.

Thank you. He passed today in my arms. Wasn't easy seeing his breathing slow and slow. It was almost as if he was holding on until he was being cuddled to finally go, he went peacefully whilst being stroked and cuddled.
