Hamster wet under chin
Hello everyone. Twice Panda has appeared to be wet under her chin and mouth. It hasn't happened for a few days but I'm still wondering what it was. I assumed it was her being sloppy with the water bottle and just spilling it onto herself. My mother thought it was sickness. I guess I want some opinions. I'm honestly not worried about it because it went away and I'm sure it was water, but anyone else experience this? Thanks.

Re: Hamster wet under chin
Hamsters don't vomit so it won't be that.
Chin wetness is due to drooling which can be caused by bottle chewing, teeth problems, pouch problems and they sometimes drool when they are warm.
Check the teeth are the correct length, not splayed and meet properly. Feel the pouches for stuck food in there or any lumps or bad smell to the breath.
If she bottle chews I would change to a bowl and see if the wetness stops.
