Default Ear Tumor on Syrian Hamster

My syrian hamster (10 months old) has three small tumor lumps on each of his ear. I'm not sure if its cancerous or not. I brought him to the vet and the vet suggested that we don't do surgery and just treat it with antiseptics if it ever pops. He is still eating and acts normal. Are the lumps going to get bigger or stay the same size? Is it going to affect his hearing or balance if it gets bigger?

My Syrian is 26 months old and he has a tumour on his foot. He acts normal, eats, drinks, runs around uses his wheel. I took him to the vet and they said they could a biopsy but they’d need to put him under so said it was risky. It has grown over time but doesn’t affect his quality of life so I have left it. I didn’t want to put him through all that. If I ever thought he was in pain I’d take him back, but for now he is living a happy life. Good luck, I hope you get some answers. x

They can get warty growths on the ears. If they start to grow inside the ear they can become sore so I'd keep a close eye on these. Watch also for scratching and bleeding which isn't a good thing and see a vet again if this happens
