Default Did I injure my hamster?

Hi all,
For context, I was handling my hamster today (nothing out of the ordinary, although he is a bit...adventurous so he kept trying to grab my sleeves to climb up my arms). When I let him down, he seemed okay. but after a couple minutes he started squinting (?)/looking really sleepy, and his gait slowed down - but without much limping that I could notice. Shortly after, he retreated to his hideout.

Would this simply come down to him being tired? I'm a bit worried as he's my first hamster and I've never seen him acting like that.

*he's almost two years old ^

How is your hamster today?
It doesn’t sound like you did anything to injure him. He may have tired himself out trying to climb up you considering he is 2 years old. If he still acting strange and you think he could be in discomfort you could take him to a vet and they will be able to examine for any injuries and give him to pain relief meds if they feel it’s necessary.
