Normal Syrian hamster eye?

Hi everyone, I was wondering if the greyish ring around my Syrians hamster's eyes is normal? It is symmetrical, and he has had it since I brought him home. He is 2.5 months old, I have registered him with a vet, but the waiting time to see a vet is two weeks. The greyish ring is more visible when he is standing so I'm wondering if it's just his third eyelid or if I should be worried and bring him to an emergency vet hospital.

I think it looks OK and is just the inner eyelid showing as he is still quite small and slender. There is no sign of discharge or swelling and redness either. Keep a close watch on it and if anything changes you may want to have him checked out. Once he fills out it may become less visible. Try a little extra protein daily while he is young like a fingernail sized bit of boiled egg white, plain chicken, cooked pasta, cube of tofu or some dried mealworms.
