Question What's this growth on Marley's foot?

I have just noticed that Marley has a lump on his foot, he hasn't got it on any of his other feet. I don't want to touch it in case it hurts him. Does anyone know what it is? Should I take him to the vet to get it checked out?

It’s hard to say exactly what it is by a photo. But to me it looks like his foot may be swollen - is there anywhere he could have gotten his foot caught? It’s hard without seeing him in person so can’t rule out a tumour. It probablyworth getting him seen by a vet as if it is swollen some metacam / pain relief and anti inflammatory will help plus they will be able to examine the area more closely incase it something else.

He gets up to all sorts in the night, he may have caught it on the bars whilst climbing, but i don't know. Okay thank you, I'll get him checked out.

Then it does sound that it could just be swollen rather than anything more serious. I know my girl can be a bit reckless at night and I’m surprised she hasn’t hurt herself.

Wish your hamster all the best and a speedy recovery.
