Default Tumor? What to do?

I`m checking as I dont know what to do. As I told before, Tassen is not well. The vet found a grey spot in one of her lungs, she have been at antibiotics but Tassen does still have issues. Some told me that a grey area at a xray does usually means that it is a tumor.
I dont know what to do as the vet told me that if the sound dont gi away, it might be better to put her down, and some means that I should get a second opinion. As for now she does come out of her house and getting food, drinks water, and sleeps. She does not run in her wheel. Her weight last time at the vet were 35 g.
In total she did go at the antibiotics 17 days, the antibiotics she did get is the on the vet thought were best.

Should I just let her be, and see how the days go?

Is she a dwarf hamster? I would gauge how you think she is in herself. Is she on any pain relief? I think that would be a start. But if it's cancer, Metacam won't be enough. Although she is slowing down, does she seem ok in herself or does she seem in pain. Signs of pain are sitting hunched, drawn look on her face and ears down all the time. But they do hide it well.

Yes, she is a dwarf. No, she is not. I have not noticed that, but I noticed that she did bite me last time I held her.

From experience with my past 6 hamsters, sometimes they can live a good long time with a tumor and still act like themselves and do their regular activities for a while. All but one of mine lived well beyond 2 years

I would take into consideration if your hamster has good quality of life and can enjoy things like eating, and if she can do most of her own little normal hamster activities.

They normally get sleepy and slower/less active with age but you can look for body language signs to see if she’s really suffering. My current hamster has rare bad days but seems to feel good and happy for the most part

Biting could be a sign of discomfort but also maybe fear/nervousness leftover from a vet visit I think

I wish you and your hamster the best, and I hope she’s feeling ok
