Exclamation please help me identify what's happening!

hi! as I've mentioned a few times, I have a robo hamster named Coco. I picked her up today to take her out of her cage because I needed to clean it, and to my horror, I noticed she had a bright red circular growth towards the bottom of her belly. I'll try to get a picture, but if anyone has ever seen this, they would know what I'm talking about. it was literally a bright red ball. she's acting completely normal, was on her wheel the entire night. I'm not sure how long it's been there because the last time I held her was about 2 weeks ago, so I guess anywhere since then. (Like most robos, she hates being held so I mostly leave her alone and when I do take her out for free roaming, I just scoop her up and put her down without seeing the belly area). does anyone know what this is? how long do I have before it gets fatal? of course I'm going to bring her to the vet, but I really don't think I'll be able to get her there until Thursday at best. also, my regular vet won't take an emergency, so I'll have to take her to the exotic animal hospital which is quite a drive. any insight will be greatly appreciated. thank you!

If it's a red ball it could be an abscess or an inflamed scent gland (robos have a scent gland on their underside). Either way she would need to see a vet as soon as possible.

I wish little Coco all the best. I hope the vet appointment goes well and you update us.

ok, thank you, I am working on getting a vet. this is my 1st time needing one for a hamster so I'm having a little bit of a hard time finding one who will take her on such a short notice but hopefully I'll have taken care of it by next week.
what would be the treatment for an abscess or inflamed scent gland? also, do you know around how much it would cost by any chance? money is definitely not going to hold me back from taking her, but i just want to be prepared.
also, I'm assuming she's going to need to be asleep for treatment because like a typical robo, she's not great at sitting still, but she's so tiny, I'm worried she won't wake up. do you know how high the survival rate is?

Probably antibiotics but it depends if it’s something that needs draining.

ok now I'm extremely confused, but also relieved. I just checked on Coco, and the entire thing was gone! there was a small scab in the area and that's it. I also noticed a tiny bit of dried blood in the cage, so I guess it popped or she bit it off? I really have no idea what happened. I decided that for now, I'm going to hold off the vet appointment because she's acting completely normal- eating going on her wheel, using the bathroom, etc. and I don't think the anxiety she'll get from an appointment is worth it.
if anyone has any insight as to what happened, I would greatly appreciate it, but as for now I'm just extremely grateful
