I actually did a little bit of a mix. Most of their food is the Sunburst Gourmet Blend, as it's got a mixture of seeds, dried fruit/veggies and pellets. But I also mix in a few pieces (4 or 5 pieces a bowl) of Oxbow Essentials. These are pretty small and don't make up much of their diet, but they seem to like it.

I love the Gourmet Blend, both of my hams have really enjoyed it. I do add mealworm & marumi pellets to the mix, it is a tiny bit short on protein at 15%. I've seen macros on here and hamster hideout recommend 17 - 19% protein daily.
