Default Sore leg?

I have seen Orko lift his back leg, maybe 3 times since he has been with me. I was wondering if it means his leg is sore and he needs to see a vet? Here is a video. He has some water, then goes to the platform and lifts his leg.

Looks like he's having a scratch! Raffy does that all the time with one of his back paws. He seems fine. If you noticed him limping, that would be something else, but I enlarged the video and he is clearly scratching!

Oh, thank you so much! I was so worried. You have really reassured me. I need to learn his mannerisms.

Agree. He wouldn't be wheeling at speed with a sore leg.

Hamsters groom and scratch a lot and for different reasons. Often to wash and clean themselves as and when or as part of their routine, sometimes when they're nervous or when they are thinking and contemplating something. Bit like, 'let's have a wash and think about this".

Thank you for explaining this. He does groom himself such a lot. It is cute it could also be when contemplating something.
