Hamsters weight can vary quite a bit. I've weighed porridge twice in the last couple of months and both times he's like exactly 100g, but the scales aren't very sensitive so he probably weighs a bit more.
A pet shop ham normally weighs around 100g - 125g, whereas breeder hams are considerably more being normally 150g - 200g

But of course there are always individuals, like tiny runts and big chubsters

maybe the pet shop he came from got their stock from good breeders?
Or he could just be a big healthy ham!

That sounds like a perfect weight to me. Some hammies are just bigger than others and there is quite a wide variation in what would be normal. As long as he is active, glossy and curious and is eating a varied diet I wouldn't worry.

Hi. I just weighed Chewy (he is out messing around on the table hehe). My first set of scales, and baking has been ok with them. He is only aroun 60g... What the?! Is this ok? He seems happy enough.. he is in his nest an awful lot.. but.. Scared! x
