Possible blood in robo's pee?
I was cleaning out my year old roborovski's cage today and noticed that some of the peed on bedding was pinkish/red. I'm planning on booking her in to see the vets just to be on the safe side but does anyone know what this could be and whether its blood? I am thinking it could either be dehydration, blood, or colouring from a food she has had but I don't think she has eaten anything in the past week that could've caused this. She has a natural cage setup so I doubt that it could be dye off of an item but I'm not sure.

Hard to say and best to get her checked by a vet.

I had the same happening with one of my dwarfs and took her to the vet. I also took a photo and showed it to them.
The vet put her on medication which cleared it up.

Re: Possible blood in robo's pee?
so can't say what it is as not a vet
but in my experience this could either be:
- urinary infection
( could be secondary to cushings which is the most common endocrine disease in dwarfs)
- tumour in bladder which can cause on and off bleeding, which won't be affected by the antibiotics that they give you
Keep me updated and I hope everything goes okay
