Default Possible blood in robo's pee?

I was cleaning out my year old roborovski's cage today and noticed that some of the peed on bedding was pinkish/red. I'm planning on booking her in to see the vets just to be on the safe side but does anyone know what this could be and whether its blood? I am thinking it could either be dehydration, blood, or colouring from a food she has had but I don't think she has eaten anything in the past week that could've caused this. She has a natural cage setup so I doubt that it could be dye off of an item but I'm not sure.

Hard to say and best to get her checked by a vet.

I had the same happening with one of my dwarfs and took her to the vet. I also took a photo and showed it to them.

The vet put her on medication which cleared it up.

so can't say what it is as not a vet

but in my experience this could either be:
- urinary infection
( could be secondary to cushings which is the most common endocrine disease in dwarfs)
- tumour in bladder which can cause on and off bleeding, which won't be affected by the antibiotics that they give you

Keep me updated and I hope everything goes okay

sorry for the lack of update its been months of vet visits to try and find an answer but here is what ended up happening. I first called the vets to make an appointment and they said i needed to be sure that it was in her pee so I spent a week monitoring her trying to see her actually pee red. I witnessed her do it and then made an appointment. At the first appointment the vet said it was likely a UTI so she was put onto baytril to clear it out. It cleared up for a few weeks and then went back to red so I tried to make a vets appointment but didn’t get one for several weeks. I finally managed to get an appointment and took her in and they put her under anaesthesia and told me that they found a massive lump and she likely had a large bladder stone which would need surgery to be removed.

I took her in 5 days later for the xray to determine what the lump was and for a referral to the hamster specialist for surgery. I had to leave her there and 9 hours later they told me that there was no lump and she was completely fine despite them being the ones to tell me there was a lump in the first place. I’m honestly not sure if I should get a second opinion or not but i will keep monitoring her to see if she continues bleeding and if she does I will be taking her straight to a different vets.

That is very confusing. So they anaesthetized her and found a massive lump (by just physical examination). But the x ray showed no lump. She's only a year old and female so the bleeding suggests bladder or uterine. I think I would get a second opinion with an exotic vet. I'd courteously ask the current vet for a slight fee refund as you only paid for the x ray because they said there was a lump, and then said they wasn't. They may give you a fee discount.

I think thats a good plan, only problem is my nearest exotic vets is only open via referral from a different vets and is 2 hours away so I will try and convince them to refer me and partially refund, thank you
