Question Syrian Hamster leaking puss from vagina! Help please!

Hi everyone,
My gorgeous lil albino Syrian hamster has had a big move today as I’ve moved house 4 hours away. I know it must’ve been very traumatic for her. However, since I’ve got her to her new home she’s been in great spirits (which I’m so happy about). I got her out for a once over and some free roaming and I noticed she has what looks like puss coming from her vagina (the hole above her Anus) and it is slightly swollen. I am hoping it is just her time of the month so I have gently cleaned it with a tiny bit of warm water. She is eating, drinking and roaming around completely fine (and her poo is solid as ever).
I am just a bit worried as never noticed it swell slightly before?

Any idea what it might be and how I can help her. She doesn’t seem to be in any pain - could it be the stress of the move just making her wet the bed more than usual (I have cleaned her bed leaving a small amount of the old in).

Thank you!!!

I would get her checked out by a vet asap. That's what i would do so can't really advise anything else.

They do get a slightly yellow sticky discharge around the vents during certain times in the cycle. If it's slight it's probably normal.
Their cycle is only every 4 days and some females show more discharge than others.
If it is profuse though, bad smelling or blood stained or if she looks or feels slighly bloated or is drinking a lot it can be an infection which means an urgent vet visit.
If you get used to normal by daily checks you will quickly spot anything amiss.
The move shouldn't have caused an infection.
