How did he get out? Does the cage have a top on it? Hamsters are great escape artists and will get out of anything that isn't securely closed with a top/lid. They can scale their wheel or push all the substrate into one corner and climb up it and just walk out!
So check the cage for security. If there's no lid/roof then it needs one. If he pushed it open then it needs fastening down somehow. Do you have a photo of the cage?

hi,thank you for the answer, he is all fine & good now, yeah that day it seems like i didn't close one of his cage doors and that caused it, he hasn't escaped since then so i think that was the problem, his fur was a bit smelly but after he took a sand bath for several days its fine now,thanks for your reply again.sry for my late answer
