Help! Dark patch on hamster head

Hi everyone! My baby peppercorn is a male Syrian 6-month-old hamster. Tonight I found a little black patch on his head and one on his back and I’m really worried. They don’t look raised and feels just like the rest of the skin. Hes okay with me touching them (as much as he tolerates all my touches)He’s been acting normal. I’m worried that it might be Cushing’s or could it just be skin pigmentation? I’ll be sure to check with a vet ASAP but any input from you guys is appreciated!

Best to check with the vet but it can be pigmentation. My Syrian has black spots/patches on his ears, always has.

How come you've noticed the dark patches now? Has his fur been thinning around the patches?

Dark patches around the scent glands are perfectly normal and one of my Syrians has patchy ears too.
