Default I need advice.

Hello, this is my hamster Sushi. He is 2 years old & I got him a year ago from a friend of a friend, none of who I talk to anymore. Yesterday I noticed this red lump on his hand. I tried researching but haven’t seen any case similiar. I don’t know if it’s bumblefoot & I dont think it is because I use a non wire wheel & he lives in a tank. He bites me everytime I try to pick him up now. However, this might also be due to old age as he has also been getting thinner even though he still eats. This is my first ever hamster & even asking my friend who has had several hamsters says she has seen nothing like it. I am worried but also thinking that it might be time to let go soon. Especially since I will be moving soon & unable to take him with. Not really sure what to do & could use some advice.

Hello and welcome to HC!

Why don't you get him seen by a vet? That's the obvious thing to do. He may be biting because he's in pain.
