Injured Hamster Foot
Hello! My campbell hamster has a foot injury since 22 feb, I don't know the cause but he was outside the cage dragged by some rats when I found him.
The paw was swollen at first, but now the swollen is getting smaller. But here's the problem, his right foot (the injured one) makes a knocking sound everytime it hits a hard surface. He's still limping and lifting his right foot when he walk. But I think it's the joint that makes the sound. The joints area is kinda red too. I don't think I have enough money to go to the vet but I really hope he will be okay. Can somebody help me?

Re: Injured Hamster Foot
There are a number of worrying issues in this post but priority is to get your hamster to a vet.
Like humans, hamsters can also feel pain.

Re: Injured Hamster Foot
Definitely sounds like your hamster needs to be seen by a vet as soon as possible. You really don't want him to be suffering and like Ria said, hamsters feel pain just like the rest of us.
