Default wet tail?

Hello hamster friends, My little Victoria has been recovering from a respiratory infection. Still doing the antibiotics - 0.12 ml per night. nearly finished them, and she has definitely turned into an old girl, but has been doing hamster things - searching for food bringing it back, exploring etc. albeit with less energy and a bit wobbly sometimes. I also make 'packed lunches' for her which she eats day and night - yoghurt, porridge, wheetabix, scrambled egg, oats. bits of veg/apple. but she has been sleeping more and more over the past few days. She only drinks water when I hold it while she is in her bed. Today, I noticed that her tail is wet underneath. I have wiped it, which she did not like. Anything else I can do? she is obviously already on antibiotics! I will take her to the vets tomorrow, but any advice to help her feel more comfortable tonight? She was not interested in water when I offered it today. Might have to syringe feed her some when I do antibiotics.
Thank you for your help.

I'd try soaked pellets like science selective to give her all the nutrients a hamster needs instead of different human foods. Antibiotics can upset their gut and a probiotic for small animals is advisable. You could try a small piece of cucumber which is hydrating.

I hope Victoria makes a full recovery.

It doesn’t sound like wet tail. Unless she has already been diagnosed with that and that is what the antibiotics are for?

Thank you for your care and experience. Victoria passed away this morning. She was cozy and peaceful. She fought (Respiratory infection) for 3 weeks and was wobbling around feeding herself to the end. A little surprised that she just found it too tiring. Thank you for knowing so much and sharing your knowledge. I realise I have learnt a lot but have more to learn. Thank you dear Victoria.

I am so sorry x. She is playing over the rainbow bridge now free from suffering. How old was she?

So sorry for your loss. I'm glad the end was peaceful and she was comfortable.

She was 15 months. She got too cold from our room. I think that's what started it. I'm so sorry.
