Default Rectal Prolapse in 8 Month Syrian

I discovered my 8 month old Syrian girl with blood all over her cage late Sunday night. I checked her out and I saw that she had something bloody hanging out of her anus, and upon research I found out it's rectal prolapse. I know that this is typically fatal and needs to be taken to the vet ASAP, but I discovered it at 9 pm, much past when vets are closed. This morning, I called every single vet in the area and none of them take emergency patients because of COVID, even to put them down, so I have no choice to watch my little baby suffer until she passes.

Is there any way to make her more comfortable or help soothe her pain?

I also kind of just need reassurance that I did everything I could. I got her as kind of an emotional support pet and she kept me company all throughout quarantine, and I'd like to think I treated her very well. I don't want her to suffer at all, but there's nothing I can do since the vet's won't take her.

Will they give you any painkillers to give her with out seeing her. Metacam is usual. In the UK vets cannot refuse treatment even now with Covid - I’m so sorry you are going through this with no support - I don’t see anything you can do without the vet helping

I’m really sorry to hear this, what country are you in? There should be some vets able & willing to help.
There isn’t much you can do unfortunately, this happened to one of my hams, the vet did manage to put the prolapse back in & he was fine for a few weeks but then it happened again & the blood loss was too much for him so he had to be put to sleep.
If your ham continues to bleed then he won’t be able to survive long I’m afraid & he really will need help from a vet, I can understand how difficult this must be for you especially if you’re in a country where vet care for hamsters isn’t good.
