It had been easier if people saw the positive in giving the hamster a new home instead of just see the money. I feel like I cant buy animals because the owner just dont want to loose money. I talked to one who said that he could not give the animal away because he would loose much money then. I tried to send him a link about cage sizes, but he would not lokk at it at all.

Is that the stressed hamster in a small cage or the 2 year old hamster you're talking about?

Not all people surrender their hamsters. Quite a few times the rescue or I offered money to buy the hamster without the cage when a hamster lived in really bad conditions.

I think if you‘be seen the two year old hamster and it’s got to you, then go for it - but then stop looking at the ads . It is too hard and as mentioned above, we can’t rehome all of them.

I wish I could save them all. I feel its kinda wrong to buy animals, because it sends wrong message as if people cant have their animals anymore, that place will buy it.
