Peach seems fine in every other way - has settled in well, running on his wheel, drinking, eating, growing. So hoping this odd patch of fur is nothing to be worried about!
HamsterGranny, yes you are right, he is just scent marking, nothing to worry about, I wouldn't clean anything out in his cage for at least the first couple of weeks if not longer.
