Default Lump in pouch

Can a lump come up on a hamster over a period of days as my hamster Hugo who is 21 months has a lump in one of his pouches which is not food but i thought it was food a couple of days ago but it is still there and feels hard. But can they come up that quick.

Default Re: Lump in pouch

It could possibly be an abscess, something may have damaged the pouch or if there was some food impacted in there it could have got infected, I would get him to the vet as soon as you can.
