Exclamation Is my hamster ill?

I recently changed my hamster's cage and put her in her new bin cage just yesterday. I also changed her bedding from Pets at Home woodshavings to Clean and cozy paper bedding (no perfumes or anything). Today I opened up the cage and noticed the hamster was making these weird noises between sneezing and chirping and I started to get worried so I've been doing research and haven't got much out of it. I then saw she had burried herself under the bedding and I was worried about her so I took her out and tried to see what was wrong, she started doing it again, only this time it was worse and the more time I had her the more swollen her cheeks were getting. I slightly touched her cheeks and she bit me like as if it hurts so I put her back in her cage and she has just gone back under the bedding (she actually doesn't seem to make this noise when she is under the bedding or sleeping). She has never done this before in the year that I have had her and I am getting really worried about her. I will be taking her to the vets tomorrow if it continues (not today as my parents are away and I don't have a car to drive to the vets) but if anyone can help me if they have any experience with this please reply.

They do sometimes make a noise like that when they're digging & burrowing, it sounds more like she's enjoying her new substrate rather than being ill tbh, burying themselves under the substrate is natural behaviour so it may just be a sign she really likes her new substrate.
When you say her cheeks were swollen do you think it may have been just full pouches, if you changed the cage & replaced everything she is most likely making a new hoard somewhere.

Hi, her pouches were not swollen when I picked her up, they started to swell afterwards which is why I noticed that it was weird. And I do think she is happy with her new substrate because she just runs around in it and stuff, the problem is that this sound she made was worse when I she was panicking because I was trying to see if something was wrong in her nose, not when she was actually in her new cage.
