Strange Growth on Paw
Hello! I was playing with my hamster today and I noticed that she had a long, hard growth on one of her paws. It wasn't there two days ago (or at least I didn't noticed it) and it doesn't seem like anything I can pull off either. I can't really tell if it's coming out from one of her fingers, but it does seem solidly attached to her paw.
She doesn't seem bothered by it, but I would like to take care of it if possible. Is this something that I can treat on my own or should I see a professional? I attempted to get a good picture, but it was hard to keep her still. My hamster is a female Syrian about 1.5 years old. Thank you!
Edit: I figured it out, it wasn't any sort of growth. It was actually a long seed that she somehow got stuck in her paw. I was able to pull it out and I noticed that finger was mildly cut and just a little black, though she doesn't seem to be in pain. Will that heal on its own or do I need to treat it? The second image is what her paw looks like after I pulled the seed out.
