Urgent help! Shaking!
Hello, I just noticed 5 minutes ago that my hamster is shaking non stop. He is not afraid because we have had him for about 6 weeks by now. He is not cold because it is hot where we live and he will just shake for about 2 minutes and stop and sleep and then wake up again! Please help me! I don’t know if he hurt something but it doesn’t look like he did

Re: Urgent help! Shaking!
Has anything changed in the environment recently? like new pets, new smells, loud noises etc?
And is he well in himself otherwise?
They're prey animals so obviously hide the fact they're unwell so if you're really concerned, the very best thing is to take him to the vets if/when possible

Re: Urgent help! Shaking!
Six weeks is not that long. Have you cleaned his cage or moved him to a different cage? That can often cause that kind of shaking as it is a big change when they're still settling in.
