Default Syrian grey eye?

I've had my syrian for 3 weeks, we don't know her age or background as she was dumped at the rescue just she's an adult female.

Her left pupil that goes like grey/blue on occasion.
I tried to take a photo but they are all blurred.
I took her to the vets for a checkup and mentioned it and of course when you take them it's not there.

The vet looked at it with the torch, and with the dye and torch.
Said there was no scratch or abnormality he could see.
Just it was a little bit smaller.
There's been no discharge and she doesn't look in pain when it happens.
If there are any changes or pain then the vet said to come back.
But the vet didn't know what it could be without seeing it.
And thinks it could be a weird genetic problem, with her eye.

Anyone had this?

It sounds like it could be a cataract.

He did mention that as well but with that the grey dot would commonly stay on the pupil.
But her's goes away to the point you can't see it some days.
I couldn't see it today when the vet was looking at her eye and with dye.

When Mishka’s cataracts began developing, they were only visible in some lighting at certain angles. If only there were opticians for hamsters lol

Hehe yeah, with little glasses.
Although it would be hard, it was hard to hold her still at the vets for him to look at her eyes, and put the dye in
