Default fleas!!!

i think my hamster has fleas!! my cats have recently brought in some and tonight i had my hamster out and i can see one or two on his fur. i couldn’t get them off as he’s so wiggly and fast, as well as the fleas being so quick

will i have to do a full deep clean and bake the wooden toys and everything? will i also have to take him to the vet to get treatment? should i have another go now at trying to get them off?

i’m not sure what to do in this situation so help would be amazing!!

I would recommend seeing your vet for some appropriate spot on treatment for your hamster. I've used Stronghold on my hamsters (which was prescribed for them). You would need to do a thorough clean. When I had creepy crawlies on my hamsters all the wooden items went in the bin and everything was disinfected. I also used bug bombs in the room (after taking out the hamsters of course).
