Unhappy Respiratory problem help

Hi all,

Sorry to repeat myself but I thought I would create a new thread for advice regarding little Wonder's respiratory problem.

She has been with me for 3 days now.
The symptoms are:
  • squeaking/sniffing/snuffling sounds, with a slight sounds of mucus or wet nose
  • a lot of nose rubbing/grooming
  • hiccup-like jolts/jigs
  • generally *slightly* laboured breathing

They are intermittent.
She is completely silent while she's sleeping.
She isn't doing it when she's running around her cage.

She does it mostly while she's eating, in her sandbath, just woken up or going to sleep or occasionally will just take herself off into a corner to do it.

I've made a recording which you can listen to here -

And below is video footage to show the physical reaction.

The vet prescribed her antibiotics and metacam and i'm seeing him again on monday to reassess her.

Has your hamster ever had these symptoms?
Can anyone shed anymore light on this issue?

Thanks in advance.
