Winter is coming!
Just wonder d any handy hints and tips for keeping our hammies warm now the winter is almonds here? I’ve added loads more substrate into his nest area but as he is in a detolf I want to make sure he really a snug bug!

I’d be interested to know too. Since the substrate I use isnt the warmest I usually put something like fitch or clean & cozy in the whole nest area then put extra tissue in, it keeps them warmer. Last winter my house got exceptionally cold when the heating broke for a while, so I did line the back of my detolf with cardboard sheets (on the outside) but not sure how much of a difference that made.
