Default Hamster cleaning old wound

Hiya guys, so my not so little Hoji had a wound according to the vet last time I saw them, on his side. The vet said it was healing up nicely tho and rubbed some stuff on it. Its been a few weeks but tonight I noticed it was wet where the wound is, like hes been cleaning it. I don't know if this is something to worry about or not, should I contact the vet again? Has anyone else expierenced hamster wounds.

I never found out what he hurt himself on, he has changed cages since then to rule that out. He wont let me check it because hes a fidgety boy

If it just looks wet rather than having any kind of discharge or being red or inflamed then it's probably fine to just leave it & keep en eye on it for now.
If you have a photo that might help give a better idea of what might be going on.

Hi again Cypher, I can try to get a photo this even in, he has awkward tines so won't see him through out the day. Best way I can describe it before getting a pic is that both me and another thought it looked like a skin tag at first
