Mo was just running around on her ledge when she turned the corner and reappeared with a bloody eye...
I immediately went and boiled the kettle and bathed the eye with cotton wool and after 10 minutes it still appears to be clean and has no more blood on it.
However im rather worried about going to bed...will she be ok????
still no more blood and she is dashing round like a loon wanting to climb the stairs as usual....
I cant see any damage to her eye at all...I think what she did was when sticking her head inside a choc drop bag (as usual) she gave herself a little cut on the wraper...I cant see a cut, just saw the blood collect around the edge of her eye (there wasnt tons of it either, but enough to notice)
If you cant see a wound and she doesn't seem in pain then I am sure she will be fine, I would just wait and see how she is in the morning
You are right that maybe she cut herself on the edge of the packet, fingers crossed thats all it was! i think you would be able to see something if she had done something more serious than that
Well, I woke Mo up this morning to check her and her eye looks normal - there was not more blood or any crustiness around it, which I was worried about after leaving her last night.
But, if it had bled anymore I think she wouldve had a puffy or dirty looking eye having just woke up - and there was none.
So, hopefully, I think it was just a little cut that just needed a clean up! I wont be letting Mo stick her head in any more treat bags for a while, no matter how much she enjoys doing so!
