hamster eyeball protruding out - please help - urgent

My hamsters one side eyeball is protruded with red skin on the side of the eye ! its only been two weeks since i got my first hamster ! Please check the images and help me out

You need to get immediate vet attention as a prolapsed eye is very painful. The vet may need to remove the eye and close over the socket. Is there a vet nearbye you can see?

no there is no vet here in chennai(india) for small pets ! What do i do? Check out these links for images

The eye has not actually come out the socket but it does not look right at all. There could be a tumour or an abscess behind the eye pushing at it. An infection or abscess might be treatable with drops and antibiotics but a tumour would not as it is too near the brain.
Would there be a vet who treats cats and dogs who might see him as a vet would normally use treatments for cats and dogs on hamster eyes. Commonly used eye drops are Maxitrol and Fusithalmic eye gel. Maybe call around and find out. If there is nothing else you could try batheing the eye in a salt solution - one teaspoon salt in a pint of boiled water and cool this well the bathe the eye gently with a cotton wool ball.

Yes there are vets who treat dogs and cats ! its 4 AM here ! i'll take him to the vet asap in the morning ! But does it look like an infection or cancer !? because i've done my research and whenever an hamster has this kind of symptom the eye ends popping out !

I don't know from a picture I'm afraid. It could be glaucoma where the eyeball swells up and a steroid like maxitrol might help. Infections usually show as more of a discharge (reddish) and sticky looking eye that is half shut.
