If you think it's getting too cold at night meanwhile, you could use a hot water bottle under the cage maybe. It would mean sitting the cage on 2 or 3 books each side with the hot water bottle underneath, so it isn't directly touching the cage. If it's a tank that might not be an option. You can also get heat lamp bulbs quite cheaply, to swap a bulb in a lamp, although you might need to take the shade off the lamp for safety reasons. Again not too close to the cage.
Make sure your hammy has a good depth of substrate to burrow down in and a big pile of torn up strips of plain white toilet paper.
If hammies get too cold they can go into torpor (hibernation) which is quite dangerous. What a pain for you. Fingers crossed they fix the heater quickly.
