Default Uncooked noodles for hamsters

Hi I have to dwarfs(Winter white and Cambell) and I was wondering if noodles that are not cooked are safe for them to put in their diet or as something to ware down their teeth and if so what kind would I have to get?

Not sure about noodles, but I know uncooked pasta is fine. I always feed it cooked, though. However, if you are looking to wear down their teeth, a more effective and long lasting option would be a whimzee. Most hamsters love them and they take a while to gnaw down.

Just stick to shaped pasta like bowties, elbow noodles, etc that have good natural ingredients.Long spaghetti noodles can cause pouch injury if uncooked, but other than that it's a decent idea for an occasional treat

Whimzees as mentioned are better for long term teeth wearing though.Peanuts/monkey nuts(those that are in the shell essentially)are another great option, just make sure they're not salted.High quality natural dog biscuits can work well too,but ingredients are very important with these(make sure as with any product if it is shared with dogs or cats that it has no corn and wheat, and that the product does not have any unsafe ingredients such as propylene glycol, sulfur dioxide, artificial dyes, unspecified or E&C approved preservatives or BHA/BHT/ethoxyquin which are known to cause cancer, derivatives of any sort and similar unspecified biproducts like biproduct meal, liver, digest, meat and bone meal of any sort, etc and as always is not from China or irradiated).

Yes, it is fine. Not overly often though. Maybe a piece a week. That is another reason why there are better alternatives to wear down teeth.

Personally I wouldn't give uncooked pasta to a hybrid hamster, they really don't need processed wheat products, use whimzees, the occasional dog biscuit & try apple or hazel sticks for them to chew.

Stick with what Cypher says, as my knowledge is largely on Syrians!
