Default Human cold

As a hamster owner I have had the worst cold sore throat chest cough for the passed 5 days!! I have finally been able to get my girl out for a run around!
I feel awful as just been in her cage she is currently running round on the sofa!
But just from a owner point of view it is better that she doesn't catch it from me than risk having her out!

So sorry you've been feeling unwell. I wouldn't feel bad for keeping her in, it's better that she stays in for a week than risking her catching your sickness. Hamsters have much faster metabolisms than us so things that barely make an impact on us, can kill a hamster in a matter of hours! You made the right decision, and she'll get plenty of exercise once you're all better. Feel better soon

Thanks! Finally normal today so she is out an about running! Enjoying her playtime with lots of treats and hamster kisses! Which she normal doesn't do! But has been all over me!
