Re: Teeth colour
Yellow like most rodents (think it's rabbits who have orange but not sure)
Yellow is actually the healthy colour but because white is a 'cleaner' colour our toothpastes dye our teeth - if we didn't brush our teeth they'd be yellow too

I don't think rabbits have orange teeth, but I've heard that degus do!
If you add extra calcium to their diet it will probably help!

Re: Teeth colour
The younger the hamster, the lighter the colour of their teeth.
It is perfectly natural though and nothing to worry about.

Re: Teeth colour
Percy's are a dark yellow/orange.
Chinchillas teeth have to be orange, like carrot orange, too

Re: Teeth colour
Yes if their teeth are yellow or orange then that is a great sign, but a lack in certain minerals and vitamins makes their teeth go white so I would I advise to do regular check-ups!!

Re: Teeth colour
Yellow teeth are normal & healthy.
I agree with the above post that if your hammys teeth are white there could be an indicator of a healh problem.
Vets say that yellow & white teeth are normal either way but I'd continue to keep doing health checks.
